Jr. Network Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Design network solutions for Villa-Tech’s automated network infrastructure projects
• Implement and maintain high availability, SDN/Traditional network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot network and network related issues
• Collaborate with other team members on developing new technology solutions
• Work with other teams within the firm to address technological concepts and/or issues
• Proactively monitor the network and provide capacity planning
• Participate in on-call support based on project needs and requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Consultative experience or desire
• Understanding of the TCP/IP stack
• Understanding of the ISO Telecommunications Management Network model and framework
• Understanding of Networking Fundamental concepts (e.g. ARP, DHCP, TCP/UDP, NAT)
• Experience with packet capture and analysis tools (e.g. tcpdump, Wireshark)
• Experience with deploying and maintaining network management software
• Write articles and/or documentation on a given use-case
• Development of Knowledge Base articles for Troubleshooting and How-to articles
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to Travel- 50%

Desired Education:

• BS or higher in a technical discipline. Exceptions considered for candidates with strong industry experience
• Industry networking certifications (CCNA)
