What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Parks Maintenance position at Village of Plover?

Under the direction of the Public Works Manager, duties include but are not limited to, public works/streets and parks general operation and maintenance; operates light duty equipment; performs responsible work involving streets/parks repairs; buildings and grounds maintenance; and other duties as assigned by the Public Works Manager or his/her designee.

Applicants must be responsible and dependable with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

Positions start in April and run through the end of October 2024.

DAYS: Approximately 12 open positions. These positions will run five days per week including weekends. (Approximately 40 hours per week.) Normal hours of work are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Weekends and days off may alternate depending on schedules.

EVENINGS: Approximately 2 open positions. These positions will run four to five nights per week including weekends. (Approximately 30 hours per week.) Normal hours of work are approximately 6:00pm to 12:30am. Weekends and days off may alternate depending on schedules.

Pay: $14.50 per hour

  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)

  • Night Shift (Preferred)
