RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Optimize and enhance SolarWinds monitoring platform.
• Provide system integration, administration, and support for monitoring tools, including dashboards, reports, and infrastructure maps.
• Assess the current setup and recommend improvements aligned with best practices.
• Manage key modules for network performance, configuration management, application monitoring, virtualization, and IP address management.
• Develop dashboards to deliver meaningful insights for leadership and teams.
• Conduct system scans to identify network devices and infrastructure.
• Configure intelligent alerts, including anomaly detection.
• Design and implement custom reports and notifications.
• Utilize MIBs and performance metrics for detailed monitoring.
• Integrate with cloud services for subscription analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project milestones within the six-month timeframe.
• Document best practices and train engineers on monitoring tools.

This is a six-month contract role in the Atlanta area. The first week is fully onsite, then onsite visits are needed biweekly. Local candidates preferred, but remote applicants within a reasonable distance may be considered.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 7 years in enterprise SolarWinds experience.
• Experience managing network/system monitoring platforms.
• Strong Cisco and Windows expertise.
• Skilled in custom reports, alerts, and dashboards.
• Ability to mentor engineers on monitoring technologies.
• Proactive, independent problem solver.
• Strong communication and consultative skills.
