Job Overview

Join our esteemed team at VNA, a prominent provider of Private Duty Nursing services in Southeast Missouri, with over 35 years of excellence in healthcare. We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Nurses to deliver exceptional one-on-one care to clients with specialized healthcare needs. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM on Monday or Friday, and every other weekend from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized one-on-one nursing care to clients in their homes.
• Conduct vital signs assessments and perform physical evaluations.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while meticulously documenting patients’ ongoing conditions.
• Provide care for specialized medical needs such as G-tubes, tracheostomy, and ventilator support as required.
  
  

Required Skills

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster patient relationships.
• Proficiency in patient documentation and conducting thorough assessments.
• Experience in administering medications and medical treatments.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience in nursing is preferred, particularly in pediatrics, but not mandatory.
