Summary:
We are looking for a Stock Manager to manage product at our Maui warehouse. Product from this warehouse will be distributed to Billabong and Honolua store locations across the island.
What you’ll do:
•Manage the stock team by training, guiding, directing, and motivating them
•Assist the Store Manager with the hiring of any stock team members
•Coordinate and communicate with store management on day-to-day operations of the stockroom
•Improve existing processes and create efficiencies, in partnership with Store Manager and District Manager
•Monitor and control shipment and inventory, including transfers, markdowns, and drop shipments through POS system
•Oversee team safety when transporting and positioning merchandise
•Receive, confirm, organize, and maintain merchandise inventory
•Keep the stockroom up to company stockroom organizational standards providing ease of access to all merchandise and the flow of merchandise to the floor
•Ensure your applicable store(s) are getting daily replenishment in compliance with company restock and Focus restock guidelines
•Uphold company Loss Prevention standards and control shrink
•Answer team member’s or customer’s inventory-related questions
•Deliver merchandise to stores and support the stocking of merchandise to the floor
•Conduct formal inventory audits biannually
•Report merchandise issues to Store Manager or Corporate team
•Cultivate a fun, organized, efficient work environment and lead by example
•Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
•High school education or equivalent
•1 years of Stock experience within the retail industry
•General knowledge of shipping, transfers, and replenishment
•Experience leading teams and guiding individuals through processes
•Familiarity with the brands and action sports industry
•Interpersonal and basic math skills
•Be an effective team player
•Strong people management skills
•Strong leadership skills

Job Requirements:
•Flexible schedule and able to work early mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays
•Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
•Adjusting or moving merchandise up to 50 lbs in all directions
•Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions
•Ascend/descend a ladder to reach merchandise if applicable
•Ability to constantly move within the stockroom and store
•Ability to stand (or remain in a stationary position) for long periods of time
•Excellent communication with store management and teams (in-person, phone, and email)
•Communicate in a professional manner and provide direction/coaching to team
•Ability to review and analyze reports
•Problem solving and critical thinking/comprehension
