Lake Shore Cleanup Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our Dive Team as a Lake Shore Cleanup Specialist in the Twin Cities Lakes Area. The ideal candidate will be a certified scuba diver with excellent underwater navigation skills. You will be working in a team of 2-6 divers to remove lake weeds by the root, ensuring a safe and efficient process. Your ability to lift bags weighing up to 80 pounds and work in various weather conditions will be essential to your success in this role.

In addition to your physical abilities, you will need strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with your team members and contribute to a positive work environment. We offer flexible scheduling for both full-time and part-time positions, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work underwater and above water with a Dive Team of 2 – 6 SCUBA certified divers
• Efficiently and effectively perform by the root removal of lake weeds
• Able to carry bags full of vegetation up to 80lbs

Working Conditions:

• Loving working outdoors is essential and the willingness to work in bad weather conditions i.e. rain, high humidity and heat.
• Required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week for FT position (May or June through August). Flexible scheduling for part-time and full-time divers
• Able to work weekends and overtime as needed on a voluntary basis
