What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Engage position at Watts Water Technologies?
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated cost by collaborating with internal, pre-order stakeholders
- Calculate the cost estimate of all project tasks and accurately manage the project budget
- Plan and schedule the entire project, including construction operations and timelines to make sure project deadlines are met
- Acquire the appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure construction is up to code
- Negotiate with various contractors and external vendors to negotiate profitable sub-contracts
- Manage contractors and external vendors and give guidance as needed to ensure high-quality project performance
- Communicate the status of the project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports
- Prevent injuries and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, reporting safety regulation issues promptly
- Work with external customers with on-going and future business development opportunities and projects.
- Support internal programs and projects to expand HHWS offerings.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in construction management. 5 years preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
- Experience using construction or project management software preferred
- Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills
MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON:
- Currently no direct report supervisory requirements
- Ensure company policies are followed
- Strictly enforce company safety policies
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear.
Lifting (approx. 50 lbs), climbing ladders and stairs; bending or stooping; extended periods of walking; regular exposure to weather conditions; operating motor vehicles; and ability to operate power and/or hand tools.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment.
