Provides professional support to end users and their operations through the efficient and effective completion of work orders. Individuals in this position are empowered to ensure customers are satisfied with service received. In the event a Technical Support Specialist or Help Desk Representative identifies a customer requiring additional customer assistance, this person will provide next-level support and guidance. Performs and ensures quality and effective PC, server, and network infrastructure operations through professional maintenance as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently to solve problems;
- Demonstrated customer service skills; including the demonstrated ability to handle challenging customers and high-level customer escalations on a professional basis;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Previous experience configuring routers, switches, and other network infrastructure equipment including an understanding of advanced networking concepts (i.e., VLAN’s, routing, and subnetting);
- Previous experience building production Windows-based servers on server class hardware;
- Associate’s Degree in computer science or its equivalent in experience preferred;
- Previous hospital systems experience preferred.
