We seek a highly motivated and experienced Upsell Payments Account Executive to join our Upsell Organization. This role is critical in driving growth in our credit card processing (merchant acquiring) business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments industry, from competitors and rate schemas to integration values, and will leverage this expertise to win more customers, secure all of their processing, and achieve the most favorable rates for our company.

Drive Customer Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential customers for our credit card processing services.
- Develop and execute strategies to win new business and expand our market share.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling value propositions and messaging.
- Ensure customers use our platform for all their credit card processing needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers to deepen their trust and reliance on our services.
- Address and resolve any obstacles preventing customers from consolidating their processing with us.
- Negotiate processing rates that balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Monitor and analyze pricing trends and rate structures within the payments industry.
- Develop insights to continually refine and optimize rate strategies.
- Maintain and manage a well-structured sales pipeline to ensure opportunities are tracked and progressed efficiently.
- Regularly review and update pipeline status to reflect accurate sales forecasting.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to effectively organize leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Engage in both inbound and outbound call activities to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Leverage call interactions to understand customer needs, address concerns, and present tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate experience and success in managing both types of call strategies to achieve sales objectives.
- Payments Expertise: Proven experience in merchant acquiring or credit card processing, either at Weave or another relevant organization.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of payments basics, including:
- Competitors and their offerings.
- Rate schemas and structures.
- Integration value and differentiators in the market.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition and growing revenue.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and customer data to make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex payment concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and address their unique needs.
- Call Experience: Required experience in managing both inbound and outbound call activities effectively.
- Experience with Weave’s platform or a similar integrated solution.
- Background in SaaS or technology-driven payment solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, with a strong understanding of their structure and best practices.
