What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Wellington Eye Care?
We are looking for a new Receptionist to help us provide exceptional eye care for our patients. The ideal candidate is dependable and has the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Confirming and scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance for patient appointments
- Accurately entering data
- Filing
- Assisting with billing statements
- Assisting with recall
- Inventory (checking expiration dates, keeping logs, etc)
- Assisting with daysheet
- Verifying insurance payments
- Collecting and verifying demographic information
- Answering incoming calls
Experience with EHR (Electronic Health Records) and computers is preferred.
Optometric experience is a plus, however it is not required as we always provide ongoing education.
