The West Fargo Park District is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Youth Soccer League Coordinator to oversee youth soccer activities at the West Fargo Soccer Complex. Position Overview
As the Youth Soccer League Coordinator, you will oversee soccer drills and games for youth ages 4-7. You will manage and support coaches, coordinate the setup and cleanup of activities, and ensure that all drills and games run smoothly. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure a positive experience for both participants and coaches.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and coordinate drills and games for youth ages 4-7.
• Supervise and support soccer coaches to ensure effective teaching and positive interactions with participants.
• Set up and clean up after soccer activities each day.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games.
• Create a positive, supportive environment that fosters skill development and teamwork.
• Communicate with parents and guardians as needed regarding participant progress and activities.
• Manage the overall coordination of soccer games and drills to ensure a smooth flow of events.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and successful soccer league.
Work Schedule
This position requires part-time availability on evenings in July, depending on the program schedule.
Qualifications
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
• Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work with and motivate children.
• Experience: Previous experience in coaching or working with youth is preferred.
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of soccer and ability to teach basic skills to young players.
