JOB SUMMARY
As the Account Executive, you will be supporting key strategic supplier relationships with a leading automotive retailer. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing supplier partnerships, driving sales growth, and fostering collaboration between suppliers and retailers to enhance business performance and increase market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and retailers.
Proactively manage accounts to ensure supplier products are well-positioned for growth, address any issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to maintain long-term partnerships.
Develop comprehensive sales strategies to drive product penetration and sales growth within the retail account.
Analyze market data, identify new business opportunities, and work collaboratively with suppliers to create customized plans that align with the retailer's objectives.
Work closely with suppliers to secure optimal product placement, ensuring high visibility and accessibility to end customers.
Advocate for strategic in-store positioning, including end caps, planograms, and special displays, to enhance product exposure and drive sales.
Coordinate promotional activities with suppliers, including special events, in-store promotions and digital campaigns.
Monitor the performance of ad spend to ensure return on investment (ROI) goals are met, and recommend adjustments to strategies as needed to enhance effectiveness.
Work with suppliers and retailers to implement pricing adjustments based on market dynamics, product performance, and promotional activities.
Collaborate with suppliers to create sales forecasts and budget plans based on historical data, market trends, and strategic initiatives to support business planning and inventory management.
Analyze sales reports to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, promotions, and product placements.
Provide regular updates to suppliers and internal stakeholders, highlighting key insights and opportunities
Use data-driven analysis to make informed recommendations on future initiatives and ensure continuous growth and success.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3 years’ experience in the retail automotive aftermarket industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Track record of successfully planning, negotiating, closing and implementing deals.
Demonstrated ability to generate new business by actively seeking and identifying potential clients, showcasing a proactive approach to business development.
Ability to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, driving growth and mutual success.
Proven experience in identifying, understanding, and resolving complex challenges, utilizing creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategy and decision-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and self-motivation with a strategic approach to networking and creating quality personal connections.
