Technology Integration Professional Development Coach

SALARY             
Commensurate with certification and experience based on the Wicomico County Salary Scale for Teachers.
 
HOURS
10 months, 190 days
Contract Unit: This position is part of the Teacher's (Unit I) bargaining unit.
FLSA:  Exempt 

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland State Department of Education teaching certificate.
• At least five (5) years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience designing and conducting in-services, workshops, and other professional development sessions.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent human relations, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Strong presentation and writing skills.
• Advanced proficiency in educational hardware and software.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft, Google, and some Apple platforms.
• Proven track record of early adoption and effective integration of technology in the classroom.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to collaborate successfully with admin, staff, and instructional staff.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver district-wide professional development on technology integration and innovative instructional best practices.
• Create instructional technology tutorials and videos.
• Model responsible and effective technology use
• Provide professional development across all grades and curricular areas to enhance student learning.
• Provide ongoing support and training to faculty on emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with teachers to design and co-teach engaging, technology-enhanced lessons.
• Deliver excellent customer service and user support.
• Assist with equipment setup, configuration, and installation as needed.
• Evaluate and research new educational technologies.
• Provide professional development for administrators, support staff, and school partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
