Commensurate with certification and experience based on the Wicomico County Salary Scale for Teachers.
HOURS
10 months, 190 days
Contract Unit: This position is part of the Teacher's (Unit I) bargaining unit.
FLSA: Exempt
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland State Department of Education teaching certificate.
- At least five (5) years of successful teaching experience.
- Experience designing and conducting in-services, workshops, and other professional development sessions.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent human relations, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Strong presentation and writing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in educational hardware and software.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft, Google, and some Apple platforms.
- Proven track record of early adoption and effective integration of technology in the classroom.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to collaborate successfully with admin, staff, and instructional staff.
Responsibilities
- Organize and deliver district-wide professional development on technology integration and innovative instructional best practices.
- Create instructional technology tutorials and videos.
- Model responsible and effective technology use
- Provide professional development across all grades and curricular areas to enhance student learning.
- Provide ongoing support and training to faculty on emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with teachers to design and co-teach engaging, technology-enhanced lessons.
- Deliver excellent customer service and user support.
- Assist with equipment setup, configuration, and installation as needed.
- Evaluate and research new educational technologies.
- Provide professional development for administrators, support staff, and school partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
