Accounts Payable Associate
Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. is one of the largest independent Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC distributors in America. We are looking for a Returns Specialist to add to our growing team at our Corporate location in Medina, Ohio.

Work Week & Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., No Evenings, No weekends
Pay: $19.00 (based on experience), plus quarterly bonuses: accuracy, safety & performance
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload with some guidance
- Capacity to meet stringent deadlines with some guidance
- Resourcefulness to problem solve with some guidance
Job Duties:
- Read and understand department documentation to ensure completion of tasks
- Follow proper procedures to code and enter documents into the Accounts Payable system
- Safeguard the company’s asset through the accurate processing of vendor invoices and credits
- Utilize the three-way match system to ensure accuracy of payments
- Create debit memos to short pay invoices for missing or damaged material
- Resolve discrepancies between the purchase order and the vendor invoice
- Verify accurate credit issued by vendor for returned material
- Verify accurate billing for freight on customer tickets
- Process direct ship invoices and bill out corresponding customer tickets
- Assist with running check to issue vendor payments
- Maintain updated information on assigned vendors
- Organize and maintain files, emails, and documents necessary to complete one’s tasks
- Analyze assigned vendor monthly statements
- Investigate and resolve open items on account
- Communicate directly with vendor to obtain missing documents
- Digitalize and accurately index documents in the electronic filing system
- Respond to internal and external requests for information via phone, verbal and email
- Follow proper procedure to initiate payment of vendors
- Other duties as assigned by management
