What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable position at Wood Fruitticher Grocery Co Inc?
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable clerk to join our team at Wood Fruitticher. This person will be responsible for handling all aspects of the accounts receivable process such as checks, lockboxes, credit card payments, and cash. This position does not require any collections experience. This position will also cross-train with accounts payable to fill in as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Post payments to customer accounts and ensure proper documentation
- Work with members of the credit team and accounting manager when issues arise
- Prepare reports as needed
- Maintain up to date and organized records of transactions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or other similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
