Summer Camp Counselor - Woodcroft Tennis and Swim Club

Join our dynamic team as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Woodcroft Tennis and Swim Club! We're seeking enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for working with children and a love for the outdoors. As a Camp Counselor, you'll play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for campers while fostering their skills in tennis and swimming. If you're energetic, responsible, and enjoy making a positive impact on young lives, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise campers in various tennis, swimming, craft, outdoor games, and social activities.
• Execute engaging, age-appropriate lessons and games to enhance camper skills.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers during activities and throughout the camp day.
• Actively participate in all camp activities, including sports, games, crafts, swimming, and other recreational activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where campers feel supported and encouraged to try new things.
• Assist with the setup, organization, and cleanup of camp facilities and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with campers, fellow staff, and Camp Director regarding daily schedules, activities, and camper progress.
• Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or recreational setting is highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Schedule:

This is a seasonal position for the duration of our summer camp program. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday and camp is option from 7:30a - 5:30p. A variety of schedule options are available including part time, fuller time, and as needed.
