This position is with Corporate Health Resources, Inc., (CHR), a WorkCare company. CHR is a nationwide occupational health examiner network service provider and is a non-clinical facility. Visit https://chr.com/

Corporate Health Resources is seeking an entry-level, full-time Front Desk Administrative Assistant to work onsite at its Rockville, MD headquarters.

The work hours are 8:30am-5:00pm EST Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
  • Answer multiple phone lines and route Operator calls to appropriate parties
  • Mail
    • Stamp outgoing mail by 11:00am daily
    • Assist with postage/certified mail packages
    • Handle USPS postage balance and log receipts in Excel spreadsheet.
    • Sort incoming mail:
      • Date stamp invoices and distribute accordingly (i.e. AP, Managers, etc.)
      • Inbound medical records – scan into S:\Med Recs
      • Any returned mail/incorrect address – give to scheduler for case
  • Fax distribution:
    • Look up patient names in CHESS 
    • Save all results to quarterly folder
    • Distribute any test in question (TIQ) or test not performed (TNP) to appropriate MRC/Lead
  • Labs:
    • Download all lab results from Quest/Oxford web portals
    • Save to quarterly folder
  • Sort incoming overnight packages and scan to quarterly folder
    • BASF team receives their packages
    • Scan any other originals to quarterly folder
  • Assist with supply orders from local and remote schedulers sent to supplies mailbox
Other Tasks:
  • Assist with shipping packages as needed.
  • Administrative tasks assigned by management as needed.
  • Scan mail regarding clinic updates/notices to VQP as needed.
  • Chest Xray Films/CDs processing
  • Assist with Lab downloads
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous phone or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
The salary for this position is $16.00 per hour. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.

Employment is contingent upon completing and passing a background check and drug test.
