Overview
We are seeking a candidate for plastics injection molding to be proficient in operating various machinery and tools. This role is essential for ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Duties
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products and make adjustments as necessary.
- Assemble components as required and collaborate with team members to streamline production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following lean manufacturing principles.
- Fabricate and troubleshoot molds, ensuring optimal performance of equipment.
- Use hand tools for various tasks related to mold setup and maintenance.
- Document production data and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Experience
- Previous experience in plastics injection molding is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
