What are the responsibilities and job description for the OEM Strategic Account Manager position at Young Innovations?
Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, the Strategic Account Manager, OEM, focuses on sales execution and achieving profitable revenue growth in the OEM business segment.. This will include developing and implementing unique and appropriate go-to-market strategies; effectively determining value propositions and end-to-end sales process across a variety of products and customers; incorporating feedback for continuous improvement; and leveraging existing resources for optimal market deployment. This role will partner cross-functionally within the organization to determine the value of new opportunities and drive retention of the existing OEM business.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focused execution within the OEM business segment both cultivating current customer relationships as well as identifying new growth opportunities for Young Innovations.
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure requirements are met, such as sales targets, product quality & regulatory, customer viability, and profitability goals (ROI).
- Ability to learn quickly and understand our broad portfolio of products and how to leverage our breadth to drive growth within the OEM segment.
- Strong analytical skills in support of metrics-, data- and process-oriented objectives; ability to succinctly report on critical sales measures and market details to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective communicator both internally and externally through reporting, funnel management & required customer information.
- Able to develop, deliver & execute new and innovative strategies.
- Partner with senior leadership in a cross-functional matrix environment in order to identify and execute solutions to complex business opportunities including active participation in the S&OP process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or a related field or the equivalent education & experience.
- 8 years of professional sales experience driving profitable performance in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment required.
- Expansive knowledge of selling strategies, techniques, and go-to-market approaches, with the ability to identify and implement the appropriate path(s) for maximum revenue potential.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to link initiatives to the bottom-line success of the organization.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent computer skills with notable proficiency in CRM software and MS office suite.
- Strong project management skills.
- A clear ‘bias for action’ and sense of urgency to operate within a fast-paced and entrepreneurially minded organization.
- A willingness and ability to display a ‘roll up the sleeves’ approach, engaging in driving tactical execution when necessary.
