Company Overview
Four Feathers Wine Estates is a family-owned winery located in Prosser, Washington. We are a custom crush facility with 3,000,000 gallons of capacity and crush over 17,000 tons at harvest for multiple clients. We have a team of skilled and experienced winemakers and cellar crew dedicated to producing wines of the highest quality. We are looking to immediately hire an entry level sales and marketing support candidate. We would like to offer experience in winery sales and marketing by providing an opportunity to help us grow our organization.
Summary of Position
The Packaging Coordinator will work with clients and the operations team on wine selection, execution, and coordination of the packaging process. They will maintain and update sales data into various digital medium. This person will interact with clients beginning with client outreach through sample requests and all elements of the negotiation, purchase, shipping, and invoicing process while communicating with the appropriate parties throughout the process. Other duties include providing client tours and organizing client bulk wine allocations.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with clients that opens the path to identifying their specific packaging needs. Support coordination with a deep understanding of Four Feathers packaging process
- Manage packaging lead-times and follow sales process to communicate client objectives and terms to operation teams
- Create sales orders by entering precise client spec data into Bulk Wine Tracking, Monday.com and Vintrace databases
- Attend trade shows, visit markets, and meet with clients in person
- Assist with travel schedule, set up trade shows, coordinate marketing materials, and wine pouring
- Assist with client invoicing and invoice tracking (aging reports)
- Provide client facility tours and arrange wine tastings
- Track packaging orders and meet deadlines while managing leading projects
Qualifications
- Passionate for providing genuine customer service to clients and internal teams. Be approachable and professional and show attentiveness to clients and working teams
- Creative, with passion for working in the wine industry and ability to build meaningful long term rapport
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization to facilitate the client’s needs and internal packaging process
- Attention to fine details to identify process discrepancies and provide internal feedback on process improvement
- Working method of keeping organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint. Confident in working with a variety of spreadsheets containing data and using formulas correctly to assist in analyzing data efficiently
- 3 Years of relevant work experience in packaging, program management or wine making
- Experience using production development process lifecycles
- Wine sales preferred
- Knowledge and experience within the alcohol industry a plus
Rate of Pay: $24 to $31 DOE
