We are currently supporting a global leading manufacturer of pumps, systems and flow-control technology in their search for a Marketing Communications Manage to join the team.
As the Marketing Communications Manager you will design, implement and execute the internal and external marketing communications plan for individual brands, including; campaigns, advertising, public relations, events, sponsorships, tradeshows, OEMs, technical specifications, marketing materials/collateral etc.
Challenges include growing our business, particularly focusing on the needs of the chemical process industry, food and beverage industry, semiconductor industry, and other sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, implement, measure and adjust marketing campaigns to achieve desired business results
- Developing plans and tactics for brands, product launches, lead generation, lead nurturing, lead management, and follow-up reporting
- Managing the online presence for assigned brands and collaborating with others in the ecosystem and external partners to implement the online strategy, including websites and social media posts
- Work closely with digital, product management, agency, and other teams to develop, distribute, and manage content via the content management system (CMS)
- Coordination with product managers on new product development and sustainable initiatives, including their priorities, and achieving the required results within time and budget
- Direct and create marketing resources that align with our brand standards, global sales strategies, and business development strategies
- Collaboration with and management of external marketing agencies and partners
- Managing the marketing budget, content calendar and proving the ROI of marketing programs
Requirements profile
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field, MBA or higher is an advantage
- Over 7 years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, product marketing and/or related fields
- Experience in B2B industrial sales and marketing, with specific experience in developing, implementing and managing marketing communications strategy and related tactics
- Knowledge of fluid management, pump technology, fluid measurement, fluid handling, flow sensors and flow control is desirable
- Experience in marketing to decision makers in one or more of the following industries is preferred: Chemical Processing, Semiconductors, Food and Beverage, or Hygiene
- Working knowledge of Marketing Automation platforms such as HubSpot or Marketo, CMS Platforms such as Sitefinity or Adobe Experience Manager, and other online tools
- Strong understanding of SEO and SEM
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel and work in a global environment
