Global Supply Chain Planner

We are supporting a growing, privately-owned Pharmaceutical company based near Stuttgart as they seek an an experience Supply Planner to join in a key role within the wider Supply Chain department. This role will be responsible for the forecasting and planning of key product groups, alongside ongoing optimisation and digitalisation projects in the Supply Chain space.

Please be aware it is essential that candidates have experience in the Pharma/Biotech space and are eligible to work in Germany

Your responsibilities

• Forecasting and Planning of product groups (Medicines, APIs, bulk) incl. S&OP with international customers
• Responsibility of ordering direct materials in SAP
• Active monitoring of inventory, delivery dates, on time performance and forecast accuracy
• Targeted communication with CMOs
• Further developing cooperation with international CMOs
• Support with data analysis and cross-functional projects
• Knowledge of serialization is an advantage
• Participation in master data optimization and maintenance to ensure an automated planning process

Your profile

• Minimum BBA or additional business-oriented degree
• At least 3 years of experience in supply and/or logistics in the pharma/biotech industry
• Accountable, ready to jump in and make an immediate impact through positive, proactive nature and high energy
• Familiar handling with SAP (MM module) and Office programmes
• Ability to synthesize data from a variety of input sources into a coherent whole/clear picture to define the problems and to design/deliver appropriate solutions
• You enjoy optimization processes and digitalization and would like to actively participate in the further development of the supply chain systems and processes
• Ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of colleagues across multiple functions using active listening skills and open mindset to understand needs
• Fluency in English is a must, additional languages are an asset
