We’re seeking a hands-on Production Planning Manager to build and lead a planning function from the ground up at a growing MedTech company.

Your Role

You’ll be responsible for creating a full planning framework—transforming raw demand data into weekly production plans, rough-cut capacity views, and delivery updates. You’ll work cross-functionally with customer service, operations, and subcontractors to keep everyone aligned on production priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement an end-to-end production planning process.
• Translate demand data into executable weekly production plans.
• Develop rough-cut capacity plans to support future resource planning.
• Establish methods to communicate delivery updates to customer service.
• Track on-schedule adherence and continuously improve accuracy.
• Conduct “what-if” planning for new order feasibility.
• Summarize large datasets into actionable plans and reports.
• Coordinate delivery timelines with subcontractors.

What You Bring

• 5 years of proven experience in production planning, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Strong data and IT skills (e.g., Excel, Power Query, SQL, ERP familiarity).
• Ability to build processes from scratch with a structured mindset.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across functions.
• Project mindset—driven to build, own, and evolve the planning process.
• Fluent German
