We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Migration Support Specialist to join a high-profile enterprise project focused on migrating Atlassian products between instances.
The position involves contributing to a hybrid infrastructure setup, supporting Jira Data Center and Oracle Database environments distributed across two physical nodes. This is a critical new project that demands in-depth expertise with on-prem Atlassian tools and migration best practices.

Responsibilities

Migrate Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, and Crowd between instances

Address and resolve migration-related issues in distributed, onsite environments

Administer Jira Data Center instances and associated Oracle databases

Execute Linux-based scripts as required to maintain operational functionality

Coordinate support for five testing environments to ensure system reliability and migration success

Validate infrastructure setups to meet enterprise-level standards

Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team, including members from Spain and Poland, and interact with the product owner

Provide valuable insights for optimizing migration processes and resolving system upgrade challenges

Contribute during scheduled on-call rotations to ensure system availability during critical migration periods
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience with Jira and Confluence Data Center (on-prem)

Knowledge of administering scalable Atlassian tools for environments with over 5,000 users

Background in migrating instances for Jira and Confluence

Proficiency in handling Oracle databases and server administration

Skills in managing server-hosted Atlassian products involving databases and virtual machines

Expertise in Linux scripting to run and maintain operational workflows

Understanding of enterprise-level infrastructure configurations and testing environments (5 )

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
