Under the direction of the Reservations Manager, oversees and directs in an efficient and effective manner the processing of all incoming reservations for individuals and groups, thus ensuring that the budgeted average and room nights per business mix are achieved. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure that all reservation requests are answered before 24 hours within Corinthia standards;
• To ensure all reservations are properly entered into the computer;
• To ensure that all correspondence for reservations is filed accurately;
• To ensure systematic full check of all reservations made each day by the Reservations Department;
• To ensure that all reservations files get to the front-office supervised on detail;
• To develop and maintain a high level of communication with all major sources of business and advise Revenue Manager, the Sales, PR and Housekeeping Manager when necessary;
• To ensure that all group reservations and VIP reservations are handled according to the hotel’s policies and procedures;
• To ensure that all correspondence is on hand for all arrivals and any adjustments have been made;
• To ensure a pro-active sales attitude and to be aware of sales opportunities within the hotel which will assist with maximisation of revenue;
• To ensure the most optimal revenue by stimulating sales in terms of occupancy and average room rate;
• To be responsible for communicating effectively with other departments;
• To be responsible for adhering to the room rate structure and related policies and procedures;
• To ensure that all tour operator reservations and allotments are handled according to related contracts and procedure; Localização
