We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fraud Data Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for analysing and interpreting our merchants’ fraud and risk data to identify trends and patterns in player behaviour. The role will focus on the fraud rule engine, on providing the data and insight to identify high-risk accounts across multiple brands, detect unusual activity, investigate, and propose preventative rules to mitigate risk and protect revenue losses to the business. The role also includes being in contact with the B2B partners, sharing insights found and preparing their onboarding.
Areas of Responsibility:
Identification of suspicious activity using the fraud monitoring tool and other systems
Review and monitor member account registration, purchases, and redemption user actions
Perform investigation on active rulesets, analyse their performance, and propose changes if necessary
Remain up to date in fraud prevention and implement ideas for testing
Input into the development of new policies, processes, and systems to monitor and prevent fraud
Generate suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for Managers
Identify areas for process/system improvement and support the team to make changes
Assist newly onboarded clients in setting up their rule engine and scoring
What We Are Looking For…
Experience with SEON or other fraud prevention rule engine
Experience with Looker, or other BI reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
SQL knowledge is beneficial
Direct experience in the gaming/casino industry
Any experience in the US market is beneficial
Good communication, organizational, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and multi-cultural diversity are essential
Experience with working on multiple projects at the same time.
Data-driven and detail-orientated with good analytical, and problem-solving skills
The ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written, and presentation formats
A proven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic industry
