Re:Nue is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. By re-using, recycling and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community.

Re:Nue also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging its logistics network to deliver aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently.

Working closely with local and international organisations, Re:Nue engages them in meaningful programmes for their corporate social responsibility initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

It is expected that the Mover will collect and deliver donated items to designated sites with established quality, environment and safety practices. The Mover supports the operation in collecting and delivery of donated goods to designated sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out duties with integrity, reliability, and adherence to time commitments .
• Work as part of the collection and delivery team , following the direction of the Team Leader .
• Support the Logistics team in completing assigned tasks and meeting operational KPIs.
• Maintain a courteous and professional attitude when interacting with donors and the public.
• Ensure that all assigned tasks are properly authorized and documented , returning necessary paperwork for record-keeping.
• Perform loading and unloading of donated items safely at designated collection and delivery points.
• Handle and secure all items properly and professionally to prevent damage.
• Assist in clearing donation bins at various locations when required.
• Keep work areas clean and safe , adhering to workplace safety regulations.
• Wear the appropriate uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Report any feedback, incidents, or damages to the Supervisor/Manager promptly.
• Undertake any additional projects or duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with the collection and delivery team.
• Customer service orientation , as movers frequently interact with donors and the general public.
• Problem-solving skills to handle large, awkward, or fragile items securely.
• Time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet schedules.
• Attention to detail in handling, securing, and transporting items properly.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work flexible hours , including weekends or public holidays..
• Adherence to safety regulations and ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• A positive and professional attitude when representing the organization.

Working Days Per Week: 5.5 days/44 hours

Work Hours: 8..30am to 5.30pm / rostered half day work
