Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, deployment, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure to support applications and services.
Support senior engineers in monitoring and maintaining AWS infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Participate in cloud resource provisioning using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
Learn and contribute to automation of infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Assist with managing security best practices in AWS, including access control (IAM), encryption, and network security (Security Groups, NACLs).
Help in monitoring system performance using AWS tools like CloudWatch, identifying issues, and assisting in troubleshooting.
Support the implementation of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes for cloud systems.
Assist in automating routine tasks using scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in AWS environments.
Keep up to date with AWS services and best practices, continuously improving skills and knowledge.
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services
Familiarity with cloud or virtual environments.
Basic understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Some experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Strong desire to learn AWS cloud infrastructure and willingness to work on challenging technical problems.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
