About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to join our team in a supporting and assisting capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in process engineering, with a keen eye for optimization, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Process Design and Optimization

• Develop, evaluate, and implement chemical processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize workflows using simulation tools.
• Lead cost-saving and energy reduction initiatives.

🛠 Management of Change (MOC)

• Ensure MOC compliance for process modifications.
• Conduct risk and hazard assessments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally for smooth implementation.

📋 ISO Compliance

• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
• Participate in audits and drive process improvements.

📈 Project Management

• Plan and execute engineering projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams.
• Produce technical documentation and reports.

🦺 Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with EHS regulations.
• Conduct PHA, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

👥 Leadership and Mentorship

• Provide guidance to junior engineers and operations staff.
• Lead training on MOC, ISO standards, and optimization methods.

📊 Data Analysis & Reporting

• Monitor production metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Generate reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Prior experience in a chemical plant or process engineering role preferred
• Strong understanding of ISO standards, process safety, and project coordination
