Operations Support Officer (1 Year Contract Renewable)

Job Summary

You will be deployed to an MOE affiliated primary school. You will be responsible in ensuring the smooth running of school operations by assisting with facility maintenance, security, event logistics, and vendor coordination. You play an important role in ensuring a safe and efficient environment for staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the school.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the school premises and equipment.
• Assist with security-related tasks as needed.
• Provide logistical support for all school activities and events, including the transportation and arrangement of furniture and equipment.
• Support daily school operations by escorting vendors or contractors to oversee the delivery of services and work.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the school.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Primary school or higher
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or logistical support
• Ability to understand and communicate in basic English and one Mother Tongue language
• Demonstrates a positive attitude
• Capable of performing tasks and responsibilities assigned by the school

Additional Details

• Work Area: Mountbatten / Dakota
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday. 42-hour work week with 30 mins lunch break daily
• Rest Days: No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
• Contract Period: 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026 (Extension possible for up to 2 years, granted annually subject to the School’s approval prior to contract expiry.)
