Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Project Manager who can play a key role in a large-scale IT project for a Japanese financial institution company.

• Approach and plan definition, status tracking, issue and risk identification and resolution, resource planning, and governance execution.
• Ability to understand and handle the client's banking system development or implementation project.
• Plan, initiate, manage, lead and execute system consulting and development projects.
• Grasp the plan and situation and create and explain report materials.
• Understand and manage the full software development life cycle.

Job Requirements:

• Project Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in directing and managing project development from initiation to completion.
• Able to communicate in business level Japanese in reading, writing, and speaking to communicate with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a cheerful and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Highly self-driven and enthusiastic, capable of working effectively with teams of varying IT skill levels and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to manage project planning for all short-, medium-, and long-term.
• Strong analytical and conceptualization skills to develop solutions for complex business challenges.
• Industry Knowledge: Banking operations or systems knowledge and experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a process-focused mindset.
