MES Business Analyst (6 Months Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in capturing and translating business requirements into functional and technical documentation such as BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), URDs (User Requirement Documents), and design specifications. This role will be critical in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of MES and CMMS solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements related to MES and CMMS systems.
• Prepare comprehensive BRDs, URDs, and functional design documents in alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including manufacturing, maintenance, quality, operations, and IT teams, to understand current processes and identify areas for MES and CMMS enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into system requirements and design specifications.
• Participate in solution design, system configuration, and validation activities for MES and CMMS platforms.
• Support development teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct gap analysis between current processes and proposed solutions.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), system validation, and go-live activities.
• Provide training and documentation for end users and stakeholders.
• Coordinate the integration of MES and CMMS systems with ERP and other enterprise platforms.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of MES and CMMS solutions post-implementation and recommend improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in MES and/or CMMS implementations.
• Strong expertise in creating BRDs, URDs, and detailed design documents.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and maintenance processes, shop floor operations, MES systems (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Wonderware), and CMMS tools (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM).
• Familiarity with integration between MES, CMMS, ERP, and SCADA systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
