Quality Assurance (QA) Tester

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our Products and Engineering – Quality Assurance team. The QA Tester will collaborate with both business and technical teams to define testing objectives, strategies, and test cases. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of product development and maintenance by executing comprehensive testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Software Developers to design and implement effective test strategies and plans
• Review and analyze product specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
• Design and maintain automation test scripts based on test requirements
• Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and ensure detailed test documentation
• Record and document test phases, results, and identified defects
• Report bugs and work closely with development teams for timely resolution
• Perform post-release validation and regression testing during the maintenance phase
• Assist in troubleshooting issues encountered during test execution
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle by working with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of QA testing experience, preferably in the payments industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude
• Experience or familiarity with financial/payments systems is a strong advantage
• Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Java, MySQL, and XML is a plus
