EHS Executive (Chemical / Manufacturing / West Area)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage safety practices at the plant, ensuring all employees are following safety rules and procedures.
• Conduct EHS training and ensure employees are aware of safety standards.
• Perform regular safety inspections around the plant to identify and fix any hazards.
• Help implement the EHS Management System and Risk Management plans.
• Lead and train the Emergency Response Team in first aid, firefighting, and evacuation procedures.
• Organize safety-related training and campaigns to increase safety awareness among employees.
• Monitor and address unsafe work conditions or non-compliance issues.
• Review and prioritize safety concerns, focusing on the health and safety of employees.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or related Engineering field.
• At least 2 years of experience in safety roles in the manufacturing or chemical industry.
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH).
• WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of local safety regulations (WSH/SCDF/NEA) and ISO standards (ISO45001, ISO14001).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with team members and management.
