Assist the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing which includes typing, packing, labelling and distribution of drug supplies to the wards and other hospital departments.
Perform billing functions and ensures that all outstanding bills are recovered. This includes answering billing and subsidy enquiries.
Dispense medicines and provide patient education under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Monitor all transactions pertaining to stock movements and billing to ensure timely record keeping using the relevant computer systems.
Review stockholding situation and par level regularly to ensure effective control of inventory.
To organise the annual stocktake session such as manpower needed, preparation of count sheet and stock preparation.
Able to investigate and resolve any stock discrepancy.
Assist supervisors with the collation of feedback and gives recommendations for the progression of subordinates.
Coordinate and invigilate written assessments for new or junior staff and attachment students.
Liaise with compounding laboratory to place and confirm our extemperaneous and sterile preparation orders.

Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Pharm Science and completed internship in hospital/polyclinic/unity/guardian with dispensing practice
