Assistant Manager/Manager, Projects (Ride & Show) - 3 Years Contract

POSTED ON 4/25/2025 AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/25/2025
Resorts World Sentosa Singapore, Singapore Contractor

We’re seeking a seasoned Show/Rides Manager with hands-on experience in theme park attractions, live show productions, or scenic mechanical systems. You’ll be the key point person overseeing the integration of ride systems with show elements—bringing storytelling to life through synchronized movement, effects, and technology.

You should have solid experience working with mechanical components, from ride systems and animated figures to props, show action equipment, and special effects. You’ll be expected to interpret creative designs into fabrication-ready drawings, prepare detailed technical scope packages for contractors, and ensure compliance with international safety standards (EN / ASTM) and local regulations (AHJ).

This role involves end-to-end coordination—ensuring facility services, scenic elements, and show control systems come together seamlessly. You’ll manage installation planning, oversee execution across multiple disciplines, and support final show programming and commissioning. A good grasp of fabrication methods, rigging, and basic AV integration is a bonus.

From early design to grand opening, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations and drive collaboration between creative, technical, and vendor teams to ensure a smooth and spectacular delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of show and ride integration—from design to opening—managing technical teams, consultants, and vendors.
  • Handle project scope, timeline, and budget adjustments with agility and precision.
  • Oversee the creation of technical drawings and work scopes for fabrication and installation contracts.
  • Review and contribute to key project documents such as contracts, variation orders (VOs), and payment approvals.
  • Ensure designs maintain both technical accuracy and creative vision.
  • Guide production and fabrication efforts to meet project goals and quality standards.
  • Oversee installation planning and coordination across ride, show, and facility teams.
  • Manage daily operations and decision-making for the show portion of the project, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in theme park attraction development, theatre productions, or scenic set work.
  • A degree in Theatre, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willing to work a standard Monday–Friday schedule, with flexibility for night shifts, weekends, or holidays when needed.
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites and coordinating across multiple disciplines
