Responsibilities
Conceptualize, produce and coordinate events with budgets of up to $ 2,000,000 for large scale festivals, openings / premieres, lifestyle events, gala dinners, and project manage timeline of large-scale resort wide décor and multiple out-sourced events.
Develope event concepts, including festivals, that drive ticket sales and revenue.
Lead the events team in preparing event and show proposals and presentations.
Establish and ensure communications between partners and other business units including but not limited to production, finance, legal, technical, sales and marketing teams.
Anticipate and plan for future work needs and optimize planning of all event-related resources including manpower within the budget provided.
Manage event budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability.
Oversee ticketing and sales strategies, working closely with sales teams and ticketing platforms.
Collaborate with marketing teams and keep abreast with promotional strategies and campaigns.
Assist with marketing and publicity plans for events and shows to ensure maximum outreach to target markets.
Analyze event performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing operational changes for the on-going events.
Ensure compliance with event regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Assess and procure the necessary insurances and licenses to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
Develop and implement event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, and site management.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.
Ensure that events or show budgets are adhered to, reducing costs and maximizing revenue to support the business objectives of the event/festival.
Lead and guide Assistant Producers and provide exemplary service.
Assist in identifying training needs and provide training where appropriate.
Recommend solutions for work process improvements in daily and event operations.
Attempt new approaches when problem solving, seeking ideas, or suggestions from others where appropriate.
Lead department projects such as administrative or WSH processes.
Requirements
Degree or diploma graduate in relevant field.
6 years or more event producing experience.
Proven experience in managing a small to medium size events team.
Experience of managing budgets of no less than SGD1,000,000 is preferred.
Experience in working in a dynamic team environment.
Proficient in negotiation skills, budget and project management.
Strong communication skills and resourceful, with strong links within the industry.
