The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Role Overview:
The Outbound Assistant Team Leader supports the Warehouse Team Leader in managing outbound operations such as picking, packing, sorting. This hands-on role ensures that operational targets and quality standards are met while guiding and supporting warehouse assistants. The Assistant Team Lead also helps oversee inbound activities to ensure productivity and KPIs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Operations Support: Assist the Team Lead in overseeing the daily outbound processes such as picking, packing, and sorting.
Productivity & KPI Management: Ensure that outbound productivity targets and KPIs are consistently met, including order processing accuracy and efficiency.
Staffing & Scheduling: Oversee the schedule and attendance of employees within the outbound department, ensuring sufficient and skilled manpower to meet operational needs.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure the outbound process is efficient and that all tasks, including picking, packing, and sorting, are completed on time.
Goods Processing: Ensure that all goods are processed immediately upon arrival and that the outbound preparation is completed without delays.
Performance Reporting: Provide performance reports to the Team Lead for review, highlighting any operational issues, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement.
Team Guidance: Take a proactive, hands-on approach in guiding and mentoring warehouse assistants to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Experience as a lead or Person-in-Charge (PIC) is an added advantage.
Must be proactive, hands-on, and willing to guide warehouse assistants.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet operational deadlines.
Must be able to commit to weekends on a roster basis, as the role follows a 5-day work week, including weekends.
