The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement. The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users. Our local marketing teams work closely with the regional teams to localise and adapt strategies to increase brand awareness and acquisition in each market. Job Description:
Conduct in-depth research to support thought leadership, PR strategies, and branding campaigns
Draft and distribute strategic press materials such as press releases, factsheets, and media pitches that align with Shopee’s brand narrative
Identify and pitch high-impact story ideas related to branding, holidays, industry trends, and product launches to enhance media visibility
Develop targeted media briefs and manage relationships with key media partners to support branding initiatives
Create engaging LinkedIn content that supports Shopee’s strategic branding objectives
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute branding initiatives, such as media events, drops, and content partnerships, to amplify Shopee’s visibility
Conduct daily media monitoring to track relevant news, trends, and Shopee mentions
Monitor, compile, and analyse media coverage from campaigns and strategic pitches, ensuring insights are reflected in monthly reports
Maintain and update comprehensive media lists tailored for strategic outreach
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
Basic knowledge of the local media industry and social media platforms
Deadline-oriented, proactive, and inquisitive, with strong follow-up and reporting skills
Able to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling
Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a creative approach to brainstorming and problem-solving
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Google Suites; experience with Canva and Telum; familiarity with formulas and data organization/analysis in Google Sheets is a plus
Candidates who can commit to a full-time role for 3–6 months are preferred
