Job Posting for Executive Engineer (Power) at SJ Group
Responsibilities
Perform engineering design (Concept/FEED/Detail Design) of HV/MV/LV electrical system power transmission and distribution in large, integrated developments and/or clusters of buildings/developments, industrial park at district and nation level, with integration with various renewables and clean energy sources and power generation component, with utilization of latest technology of Battery Energy Storage System, as a micro-grid system and connection to the Grid.
Involve in HV/MV/LV Electrical sizing calculations and system studies for electrical power supply system up to 66kV such as Power Load Flow studies, Short Circuit studies, Harmonic studies, Thermal rating calculations, Earthing schemes, Power Supply Stability study and Protection Relay Co-ordination studies etc.
Provide required technical support to project and tender activities.
Coordinate with sub-contractors for engineering and project deliverables.
Attend internal and external technical training sessions for capability improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor/Master’s degree in electrical engineering
Fresh graduate or 2 years of experience in carrying out design and developing electrical system of power transmission and distribution system for large, integrated developments and/or clusters of buildings/developments, industrial park, at district and nation level.
Understand technical requirements for electrical system/equipment in international or local standards, such as IEC, SS, IEEE etc.
Experience in the sizing of the BESS and applications of the various BESS technologies will be an advantage.
Experience/knowledge in power system simulation modelling with ETAP or PSS/E will be an advantage.
