Assistant/ Supply Chain Manager (Project Management, US MNC)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supply chain and material management projects from planning to completion
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and production teams
• Plan material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts
• Track inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure performance and compliance
• Monitor and manage project timelines, costs, and resources
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement
• Lead or support cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and inventory management
• Support ERP system usage and ensure accurate material records
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and senior management
• Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality of materials
• Support budgeting and cost-control efforts for material-related projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Drive continuous improvement in supply chain and material handling processes
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
• Experience in supply chain or materials project management, preferably from manufacturing industry background
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory tools
• Candidate who is able to start within short notice will be an added advantage
