Position Title: Ocean Freight Supervisor
Location: Atlanta, GA office
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of industry experience (ocean freight, import/export)
- Exceptional Customer Service skills (verbal and written)
- Detail oriented, Self-motivated, Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, other regional branches and offices, and all external contacts
- Good organizational skills and ability to learn and retain information to build core industry related skills.
- Must know how to use and organize Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.
Responsibilities:
- Assist department head to monitor and train all staffs in operation process and fully utilize Dimerco Value Plus System for all related job functions, including data entry, generating billing, & cost approvals
- Maintain services with ocean team (OP/CS/Sales) toward customer's satisfactions & excellency through good communication & coordination with customers/carriers & affiliated business vendors and partners
- Assist and monitor daily ocean operational issue and troubles shooting
- Arrange & follow up with shipment coordination & daily communication with customers & overseas offices
- Ensure ocean team meet KPI for on-time billing, cost approval, & monthly shipment lot closing
- Adhere to compliance of all transportation & security regulations
- Build up good relationship with local customers and act as key Customer Service member to expand business opportunity with sales team
- Any other assignments from the management if needed
