What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts and Service Sales Representative position at Goodfellow Corporation?
Summary/objective
The PSSR builds customer relationships by visiting customer locations to promote the organization with an emphasis on gaining additional Parts and Service business by identifying customer's needs, communicating, and delivering the parts or service solution to the customer.

- Provides value to our customers and cultivates positive relationships by selling Parts and Service solutions that meet their specific needs. Supports all product lines carried by the organization
- Looks for opportunities to grow branch sales through increased business with existing customers, new customers, and owners of competitive equipment.
- Promptly follows up with customers and delivers sound advice to help their organization.
- Fills out call reports after visits and profiles customer's fleet of equipment using the CRM application
- Communicates customer concerns to the appropriate department manager at the branch when needed.
- Required to help in the annual inventory count of the warehouse.

- Self-reliant and able to work independently; Maintains high levels of motivation with minimal supervision.
Supervisory responsibilities
None.
Work environment
This position primarily works out of the company truck. Will be heading into sand and gravel pits with dust, dirt, and loud noise. Occasionally, this position will be in the Parts office, warehouse, or the customers' office.
Physical demands
May occasionally need to deliver parts to a customer. Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Travel required
Depending on territory, travel will be required at least once per quarter.
Required education and experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of database software, online parts books, etc.
- Ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs
Preferred education and experience
- 1 to 3 years of Parts or Sales experience
- Basic knowledge of Crusher equipment and dealership operations
