Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Full-Time Interim Trust & Estates Attorney for a 3-month assignment.
Overview: Our Client seeks a skilled Trust & Estates Attorney for a temporary–to-permanent opportunity.

Experience: The ideal candidate for this role possesses 4 years’ experience supporting senior attorney’s in all aspects of estate planning and administration.
Location: Hybrid (Preference would be on-site 2 days.)
Responsibilities Include:
- Drafting and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trust and powers of attorney.
- Advising clients on tax- efficient wealth transfer strategies and planning for probate and estate administration.
- Handling probate and estate administration matters, including filing necessary court documents and representing clients in probate proceedings.
- Litigation trust and estates disputes, including will contests and fiduciary duty matters, when necessary.
Qualifications Include:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New Jersey bar is required; candidates with admission to another state bar must be willing to waive into the New Jersey bar.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in trust and estates planning, probate, and estate administration.
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey state and federal estate and gift tax laws.
- Excellent client management and communication skills, with ability to handle sensitive family dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $100-$110 hourly
