Position Overview: The Senior Vice President of Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Qualstar plays a pivotal role in advancing our mission to improve members' financial lives. As a strategic financial leader, the CFO oversees the comprehensive financial landscape of the Credit Union, including direct oversight of accounting, risk, compliance, and internal audit. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to short and long-term strategic planning; ensuring financial decisions align with our commitment to members' well-being. The CFO's expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analytics optimizes resources and drives data-driven decisions. By actively managing investments, overseeing risk, and ensuring compliance, the CFO safeguards the financial stability that underpins our members' trust.

Our Ideal Candidate: is an experienced credit union financial leader with a passion for improving members' financial lives. You are a great fit if you:

• Hold a B.A. degree in business, finance, or a related field, with a preference for professional certification (CPA) or a graduate degree.
• Have 5-10 years of credit union or community bank experience, demonstrating familiarity with industry compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Possess excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a deadline-oriented mindset. Analyzing data for trends, forecasts, budgets, and staffing levels aligns with our vision for this role, making it a crucial aspect of the preferred skill set.
• Have experience delivering results through teams and the ability to develop organizational leaders. Oversight of Finance, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audits, and Payment departments aligns with our needs.
• Are comfortable operating at all levels. You like staying connected to details, verifying frequently with curiosity and healthy skepticism when needed.

Salary : $180,000 - $225,000
