Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team at our esteemed hotel. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional guest relations skills and a strong background in hospitality management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service from check-in to check-out, creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing the front desk staff efficiently.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports.
  • Foster excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Train, mentor, and manage front desk staff to deliver high-quality guest services.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest preferences.
  • Implement hotel policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
  • Utilize multilingual skills to assist diverse clientele effectively (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
  • Monitor front desk activities to ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality or resort industry is required.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit processes is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multiple languages being a significant advantage.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
