Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation
- Handle journal entries and maintain general ledgers
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in debits and credits
- Strong understanding of financial concepts
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliation
- Knowledge of budgeting principles
- Familiarity with governmental accounting practices
- Ability to perform account analysis efficiently
- Previous experience as a clerk or bookkeeper
- Understanding of tax regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software for data entry and reporting
-Proficiency in Quickbooks
Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Knowlege of Accuterm software wich is what we use.
- Experience with tax preparation
- Familiarity with various accounting software systems
