Job description
Youngsville custom cabinet shop is looking for a qualified individual to add to our Scheduling Department. Applicant should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would have prior experience with scheduling procedures, including but not limited to working multiple schedules daily, knowledge of the Triangle area, and ability to effectively and professionally communicate over the phone. Candidate would ideally have some knowledge of cabinet building materials and manufacturing scheduling. This is a full-time position.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling new estimates with customers
- Scheduling multiple employees in various departments
- Schedule vendors as needed
- Utilizing CRM database
- Utilizing G Suite apps
- Utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Running the Estimators schedule (Must have Google calendar experience)
- Develop & maintain schedules for all projects
- Collaborate with team to ensure timely development of baseline schedules, provide updates on schedule status, prepare and submit schedule updates as required, and ensure delays are adequately documented
- Adjust scheduling as needed to accommodate timely completion
- Review contracts for specific scheduling needs and profile critical timelines to ensure project schedules show appropriate detail.
- Participate in team meetings and 1-on-1 meetings
- Answering multi-line telephone and directs callers to appropriate staff member
Skills Required:
- Minimum 4 years experience in project scheduling
- Interact with clients and staff to schedule projects
- Effectively and professionally communicate through verbal and written communications, including preparation of schedules and ongoing progress reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities simultaneously
- Ability to recommend corrective actions and creative solutions when project problems arise
- Manage day-to-day activities to meet project deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Dependability and punctuality are a must
- Excellent inner-office & phone communication skills required
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office
Experience:
- Scheduling: 4 years (Required)
- Construction scheduling: 4 years (Required)
- Manufacturing scheduling: 2 years (Preferred)
- Google Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
- Google Calendar: 2 years (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
