Accountant

The position:

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is seeking a career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to become a member of our professional team. We are seeking to recruit an Accountant for the Finance Department.  

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

• Accurately record and maintain accounting entries using the company's accounting software
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconciliations of accounts with external and internal creditors, as well as customers
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT, INTRASTAT, and VIES declarations
• Prepare and verify invoices, payments, and financial documentation to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner
• Monitor and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Provide administrative and financial support to different departments within the company as required
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders during audits, inspections, and other day to day requirements
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or in any other relevant field
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek
• Very Good Knowledge of MS Office, emphasis in Excel and Outlook
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Dynamic, proactive, and team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
