Senior Group Financial Controller, HQ & Franchise

The position as Senior Group Financial Controller, HQ & Franchise is newly established. The role will be based in our Global HQ in Copenhagen and will be a part of our Group Finance department in the Group Reporting & Controlling team. The position is global and will take ownership of financial controlling for both our HQ and franchise business.

The role is dynamic and will be a key player in structuring and managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, workflows, and systems in close collaboration with the rest of the controlling team. Additionally, the role will work closely with internal stakeholders, making strong communication and collaboration skills essential. The role will be reporting directly into our Head of Group Reporting & Controlling, Kevin Lang Hansen.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Controlling: Lead and support cost control processes for our HQ departments, ensuring financial efficiency and transparency.
• Franchise Controlling: Take full ownership of financial controlling for our franchise business, ensuring compliance, profitability, and strategic alignment.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial insights to drive decision-making across the organization.
• Process Optimization: Develop and improve controlling processes to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, franchise partners, and senior management to align financial strategies with business goals.

Key Qualifications

• Experienced Group Controller with a background in a global, multi-unit, or franchise-based business.
• Strong expertise in cost controlling, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Sharp analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear financial insights.
• Hands-on mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Industry experience in retail, hospitality, or F&B is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to present complex topics concisely.
• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
